What is the Consent to Pay form?
Workers’ Comp cases have dozens of different forms and report types. What is the Consent to Pay form?
The Consent to Pay form is one of the first documents clients deal with during a WC case. Its purpose is to document that the person making the claim will initially pay all attorney and doctor’s fees that relate to the case. It is intended to protect you and to let the other parties know that you are actively seeking counsel and treatment.
This document’s full name is the Claimant's Consent to Pay Fees and Costs form. It can typically be found and filed in Maryland on the Maryland CompHub Portal. Check requirements in other states, or contact an attorney if you have additional questions.
