What happens if we win at Trial?

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE WIN AT TRIAL? WHAT HAPPENS IF WE LOSE?

The result of your trial determines your next steps. A Verdict is the court’s final decision about your case, and determines how much payment (if any) there will be.

Even if the court awards you some compensation, the court is not the one who will pay you. Waiting for the other party to pay or for your side to collect is a whole step in and of itself, so unfortunately, you’re not done quite yet.

If the Verdict wasn’t what you expected, or you ended up losing in the courtroom, your case may not necessarily be over. Your Attorney can help you understand what happened and what further legal steps are available to you.

WINNING, COLLECTING PAYMENT, AND FINISHING THE CASE ARE ALL SEPARATE STEPS.
