What is a Claim?
What is a claim in a legal case?
A CLAIM IS A FORMAL REQUEST FOR COMPENSATION.
Claims are our way of communicating that something went wrong and that whoever we sent it to should make it right. Some claims settle when an agreement is reached, but if that doesn’t happen, that’s when we consider litigation. Our goal is to get the maximum value for your case without having to file a lawsuit.
What goes into a Claim? What does it consist of?
When an insurance company receives a Claim, they begin the review process. Here, they determine if they will award payment based on how they see the facts of the case: insurance policy coverage, liability (which basically means whose fault it was), and other evidence. Then, they will either accept or reject the Claim.
