Safety Tips for Business Owners

AS A BUSINESS OWNER, HOW CAN I PRIORITIZE SAFETY AND STAY AWARE?

Make safety checks part of your daily business routine. Inspect entrances, walkways, stairs, restrooms, and parking areas for spills, damaged surfaces, poor lighting, and other hazards. Correct problems promptly, restrict access where necessary, and use clear warnings while repairs are underway. Train employees to report hazards and respond to incidents, and keep accurate inspection and maintenance records. If someone is injured, get appropriate help, document the facts, and preserve relevant photographs, reports, and security footage.
